TL;DR: At this year's Google Next, there was a strong focus on expanding Google Cloud to enable more advanced AI usage. Workspace took a step forward with several smart updates, although it wasn't as much in focus as in previous years. Despite this, several features were launched that can make your workday both easier and more efficient – even though some will take time before they become available to all users or are launched in Swedish.

News you don't want to miss:

🧠 Workspace Flows - Automate entire workflows using AI and custom "Gems". Perfect for approvals, onboarding, or customer support – without code.

🎧 Audio in Google Docs - Listen to documents in podcast format! Perfect for those who want to consume content on the go or hear how the text sounds aloud.

✍️ Help me refine in Docs - Get concrete writing tips in the form of AI-generated comments. A personal writing coach to help you sharpen your texts.

📊 Help me analyze in Sheets - AI helps you interpret data, find trends, and create clear visualizations – even if you're not an Sheets pro.

🎬 Generate video in Google Vids - Create original video clips using AI directly in Google Vids. Efficient for internal communication, onboarding, or campaigns.

🎥 Gemini in Google Meet - Get AI summaries if you join a meeting late – or help formulating what you want to say.

💬 Gemini in Google Chat - Make AI part of the conversation – ask questions, get explanations, or request drafts directly in the chat.

Please note:

Some of the features are not yet available, and several will initially be launched in selected languages and regions. We are monitoring the developments and will keep you updated on when they are released in Swedish.
